MOOCs have been getting a lot of press as of late. Readers of the Chronicle or IHE might be led to believe that the small group, face to face instruction is soon to arrive. Is this indeed the case? Can the fabulously successful model of UMW’s ds106 be replicated elsewhere. Does it require a huge infusion of cash? Does it have to be massive?
